"Begalka" is a social drama, in which the theme is the forbidden love between two young people (for social reasons), and the idea that despite all obstacles, strong love will find its way to fulfillment. Compositionally, the drama consists of five acts and five stages, and the action takes place in Kumanovo, in the first decade of the 20th century. The original title was "Lence Kumanovce"
